Notices of Special Interest

Notices of Special Interest formalize a process used by some institutes to announce areas of science in which an Institute is interested in receiving applications. They are similar to a program announcement but application is made through the appropriate NIH Parent Announcement identified in the Notice. For more information please see this Extramural Nexus article.
