NIEHS Individual Development Plan Initial Form (303KB)(303KB)(303KB): To foster early establishment of clear goals during a fellow’s time in residence at the NIEHS, the mentor and trainee should hold an initial meeting to communicate the expectations for the postdoctoral fellowship, establish a research plan and discuss long-term research and career goals.

Individual Development Plan Renewal Form (418KB)(418KB)(418KB): Because IDPs are dynamic (living) documents, they should be renewed annually to celebrate trainees’ accomplishments and adjust priorities during the career planning process.
