Rachel Frawley is a health scientist in the NIEHS Division of Translational Toxicology (DTT) in the Systems Toxicology Branch. In her current role, Rachel provides scientific support to the DTT via leadership and collaboration in the design, planning, evaluation, and reporting of toxicological research studies, with a special interest in algal toxins and immunotoxicants. In addition, Rachel coordinates the monthly DTT Science Forum, which is a venue for presentation and discussion of research and current topics that are of broad interest to the program, and the annual DTT Poster Showcase. She is actively involved in the development and DEIAC initiatives of the DTT.
Prior to joining the DTT, Rachel spent 20+ years as a research scientist in the Division of Intramural Research program at NIEHS. Rachel received a B.S. in biology from Christian Brothers College in Memphis, TN, and an M.S. in microbiology from Clemson, University in Clemson, SC.
