Francoise Santos joined NIEHS, Division of Extramural Research and Training as a Grants Management Specialist in October 2023. With a professional history of nine years at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), she held the position of Capital Program Manager in the Management and Budget Office. In this capacity, she oversaw a wide range of construction projects, managing budgets and ensuring adherence to fiscal year limits. Prior to her tenure at WMATA, Francoise played a key role at Children's Hospital, managing compliance and providing fiscal oversight for a diverse grant portfolio, which included traditional sponsored research grants.

Francoise earned her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
