Services
The Integrative Bioinformatics Support Group provides direct and collaborative bioinformatics support to scientific research programs, enhancing and empowering intramural research. Our support spans the entire experimental process, from initial design to data analysis, interpretation, and publication.
Background
The Integrative Bioinformatics Support Group specializes in managing and analyzing biological data from various experimental types, including NGS data (e.g., RNA-seq, DNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, HiC, methyl-seq), single-cell data (e.g., scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq), multiome, microbiome, metabolomics, and proteomics. Our support ranges from ad hoc assistance with basic bioinformatics tasks to an embedded model, providing in-depth, long-term support with a comprehensive understanding of project or group research goals.
We have developed specialized workflows with standardized quality control and assurance pipelines for analyzing and integrating common data types. These workflows are regularly updated to reflect best practices in bioinformatics and are customized to deliver tailored outputs to meet project-specific needs. Additionally, our group drives innovation by developing novel tools and pipelines to evaluate, integrate, and interpret complex datasets, enabling cutting-edge research.
