Much of the work carried out by DTT is in support of the National Toxicology Program (NTP), an interagency partnership of the Food and Drug Administration, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and NIEHS.

Mechanistic Toxicology Branch

Genna St. Armour, M.S. is a Biologist in the Mechanistic Toxicology Branch, Division of Translational Toxicology (DTT) of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). Her role is to investigate the effects of endocrine disruptors on the developing brain and placenta and their influence on behavior to better understand neurodevelopmental disorders.

Genna obtained a B.S. in Biology from Coastal Carolina University followed by a M.S. in Neuroscience at Brandeis University. She has been working with Dr. Heather Patisaul since 2017, previously at North Carolina State University, until the group moved to the NIEHS in 2024.
