NIEHS Fellows enjoy a close-knit community and have multiple, unique opportunities that enable them to develop highly sought-after leadership skills. These skills are especially valued by potential employers. Learn more about the ways in which you can develop these skills by participating in some of the committees below.

Career Symposium Planning

This committee organizes a symposium that serves over 400 attendees with ~60 invited career professionals.

ELITE Consortium

The "Enhancing Local Industry Transitions through Exploration" (ELITE) Consortium organizes site visits to local industries.

NIEHS Trainees Assembly (NTA)

All NIEHS fellows form the NIEHS Trainees’ Assembly. Their leadership committee has ~19 subcommittees and/or liaison positions across NIH and NIEHS.
