Population Health Branch (PHB)

Toccara Chamberlain is a Health Specialist in the Population Health Branch at NIEHS. She provides evaluative support to multiple programs including the Powering Research through Innovative Methods for Mixtures in Epidemiology (PRIME) and the Environmental Health Sciences Core Centers programs. In addition to evaluation activities, Toccara also manages the Keystone Science Lecture Seminar Series and is the new program manager for the R13/U13 Conference Grant and Time-Sensitive Research programs. She also performs other ad hoc analysis for PHB and DERT and is involved with several internal committees and working groups.

Prior to coming to NIEHS, Toccara completed the Presidential Management Fellows program at NIH and worked at the National Institute on Aging in their Office of Legislation, Policy and International Activities. She completed her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and a certificate in Clinical Addictions Counseling from East Carolina University. Toccara also served in the United States Army on active duty and as a reservist for 12 years.
