Overview

Dr. Judy Van de Water (Professor, University of California-Davis Mind Institute) presented on the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences’ (NIEHS) campus on April 15th, 2026. This seminar complemented an ongoing global movement aimed at raising awareness, acceptance, and understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Dr. Van de Water's research program examines autoimmune and clinical immune-based disorders in ASD, alongside the maternal-fetal immune interface in neurodevelopment and ASD phenotype.
