Job Description

The Structural Biology Core at NIEHS is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team investigating fundamental biological mechanisms and their relevance to human health and disease. The successful candidate will contribute to projects spanning molecular and structural biology, biochemistry, and biophysics, with opportunities to work across diverse research areas such as allergy and immunology, DNA replication and repair, and the function of heparan sulfates and their binding targets. In our lab you will use biological, biophysical, and structural biology techniques, such as X-ray crystallography and CyroEM, as well as dynamic single molecule approaches, like the C-Trap to interrogate health related pathways.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in biochemistry or a similar degree with no more than 1 year of experience post-graduation. We encourage candidates with experience in eukaryotic protein expression and purification, structure determination, or utilizing LUMICK C-Trap to apply.
