  • Biostatistics & Computational Biology
    NIEHS has several resources available to researchers, both inside and outside of the institute.
  • Epidemiology
    The Epidemiology Branch addresses the mission of the NIEHS by carrying out basic and applied research on the effects of the environment on human health.
  • Free Radical Metabolism
    The Free Radical Metabolism Group studied free radicals, which are atoms or molecules with unpaired electrons in an outer electron shell.
  • Nuclear Magnetic Resonance
    The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Group performs fundamental research on biological systems aimed at providing insight into the molecular mechanisms that underlie problems of environmental concern.
  • Public Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Software Tools
    NIEHS has produced software for Electron Paramagnetic Resonance analysis since 1983.
