Health Insurance

All non-FTE fellows must have adequate health insurance coverage to participate in a fellowship at NIH. This requirement may be satisfied by a policy held by the fellow or under someone else's name with the fellow identified as a family member. 

Fellows who work more than 30 hours per week for greater than 60 days may receive a stipend supplement to cover the full cost of health insurance through the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES) for individuals and families.
