Consortium of Universities for Global Health

Background: The Consortium of Universities for Global health in partnership with the Pulitzer Center held their annual video competition to highlight global health issues and solutions. The six video finalists showcase topics such as Nodding Syndrome, an HIV infant tracking system, digital health education, maternal care, drug resistant tuberculosis, and clean cookstoves.

New Heat-Related EMS Activation Surveillance Dashboard

Background: The HHS Office of Climate Change and Health Equity (OCCHE), in partnership with the DOT National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), launched the Heat-Related EMS Activation Surveillance Dashboard (EMS HeatTracker). The EMS HeatTracker uses nationally submitted data to track EMS responses of people experiencing heat-related emergencies in the pre-hospital setting.
