APHA Climate and Health Infographics
The American Public Health Association has released five infographics to build understanding and bring awareness to the public health impacts of climate change. These infographics describe the ways that climate change impacts human health through decreased air quality, changes in the spread of vector-borne diseases, and the destruction to communities due to extreme weather events. These infographics can be used for communication efforts when explaining the environmental pathways that cause negative health impacts related to climate change.
