The webinar Developing a Climate Change and Health Research Agenda for the NIH: Adaptation, Equity and Big Data features three guest speakers: Kris Ebi, Ph.D., University of Washington, who discusses climate adaptation and health risks, David Pellow, Ph.D., University of Santa Barbara, speaking about the role of social justice and climate change, and Kiros Berhane, Ph.D., Columbia University, who talks about the role of big data in climate science.

Pan American Health Organization Agenda for the Americas on Health, Environment, and Climate Change 2021-2030

The Pan American Health Organization recently released the Agenda for the Americas on Health, Environment, and Climate Change 2021-2030 (the Agenda). Developed under the umbrella of the WHO Global Strategy on Health, Environment, and Climate Change, the Agenda is a call to action to leaders in the health sector to address environmental determinants of health in the Americas. PAHO and Member States will work together toward its objective to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all across the lifespan using sustainable approaches that prioritize reducing health inequity.
