2010 Strategic Planning

Superfund Research Program

In response to recommendations of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences' Superfund Research Program (SRP) 2009 External Advisory Panel, the Program developed a strategic plan to provide direction to achieve its mandates described in SARA Section 311(a)(95KB)

SRP program staff have finalized the Strategic Plan(881KB) . The draft was posted in the Federal Register for comments, submitted to the 2009 External Advisory Panel for review, and presented at the September 2010 NAEHS Council meeting.

Meetings and Webinars

Input from interested individuals at federal, state, and local environmental health agencies, academia, environmental engineering firms, and not-for-profit organizations was essential to the success of the strategic planning process. In addition to an on-line survey, thoughts and insights were gathered at series of public web-based or face-to-face meetings.
