Steven Tuyishime received his B.S. in biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where he was a Meyerhoff scholar. He went on to receive his Ph.D. in cell and molecular biology from the University of Pennsylvania, conducting research focused on developing a novel adenovirus-based vaccine platform. Prior to joining NIEHS, Steven completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UPenn, where his research focused on developing and optimizing delivery of mRNA-based therapeutics. Steven comes to the Program Analysis Branch as a Presidential Management Fellow.
