North Carolina Turns Research Collaboration into Action

Researchers across three SRP-funded universities and their stakeholders organized the North Carolina Fish Forum in 2019. Three years later, the collaborators continue to reveal new insight into contaminants in fish, inform more health-protective advisories, and communicate risks to diverse groups.

Organized by researchers and staff from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, and North Carolina State University SRP Centers, the forum brought together people from communities across North Carolina, nonprofits, and local health departments.
