Once all the steps of sequencing have been performed the results can be checked by selecting the ‘Assign-Sequence’ menu from the NMRView main menu bar. This will bring up a window with the sequence in one-letter abbreviated form. By pressing ‘color assigned’, the residues that have been assigned will be drawn in red.
The addition that has been made to this window is the ‘add’ button. This button, when pressed, creates a window in which the ‘i’ and ‘i+1’ clusters can be set or changed for any residue in the sequence. Remember to change the appropriate neighboring residues with this tool as well, when changing already assigned residues.
