The Cure JM Foundation won a $250,000 grant from Pepsi in the Pepsi Refresh national contest in August 2010. The all-volunteer, non-profit organization, formed to find a cure for Juvenile Myositis, won 1st place out of 1,200 organizations in a contest where over 42 million votes have been cast for over 7,500 ideas. Cure JM will put all of the $250,000 towards research to support its Programs of Excellence, a cardiovascular study and a genome study. More information can be found at www.curejm.com.
