Ensuring Up-To-Date Guidance: Revising the NIEHS Minimum Health and Safety Training Criteria

Awardee Meeting

The semi-annual WTP Awardee Meeting brought awardees together to provide program updates, exchange information regarding training, and discover new areas of interest to awardees.

WTP Workshop Details

Last updated during a 2005 WTP workshop, the Minimum Health and Safety Training Criteria document is a national guidance document for training hazardous waste workers and emergency responders. It also serves as the primary quality control foundation for the WTP.

This workshop was primarily a working meeting. Awardees selected from a limited number of topics addressed in the Minimum Criteria document, then broke out into groups that worked to develop consensus on proposed revisions to the existing language.
