Awardee Meeting Details

The WTP Awardee Meeting was held on Monday, October 6th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the NIEHS Main Campus in the Rodbell Auditorium in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

Purpose of the Awardee Meeting
The semi-annual WTP Awardee Meeting brought awardees together to provide program updates, exchange information regarding training, and discover new areas of interest to awardees.

WTP Workshop Details

The WTP Workshop was held on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 7-8 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The workshop also took place in Rodbell Auditorium on the NIEHS Main Campus.

Purpose and Scope of the Workshop
The workshop focused on the serious health risks that workers in various industries will face as the consequences of climate change become more and more prominent. Workshop participants explored lessons learned and best practices to prepare workers for climate change effects. Participants also engaged in discussions about curricula that can be developed to help to build a more resilient and sustainable workforce and community.
