2008 WETP Meetings and Workshops

Worker Education and Training Program

The Worker Education and Training Program (WETP) conducts Awardee Meetings and Technical Workshops each year.  From April 3-4, 2008, a Joint NIEHS SBRP-WETP Technical Workshop and WETP Spring Awardee Meeting was held at the Natcher Conference Center on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) campus in Bethesda, MD.  The 2008 Brownfields/Minority Worker Training Program (MWTP) Awardee Meeting was held May 4, 2008 in Detroit, MI.  The Disaster Site Worker Course Workshop: Ensuring Skilled and Other Support Personnel are Prepared for Disasters was held May 21-22, 2008 in Beaver, WV.  The Earthquake Safety and Health Training Tool Stakeholders Meeting was held July 9, 2008 in Emeryville, CA. The Fall NIEHS Awardee Meeting and Workshop was held October 15-17, 2008 in Chapel Hill, NC.
