Technical Assistance Meeting for RFA-ES-09-001 (Research to Action: Assessing and Addressing Community Exposures to Environmental Contaminants)

February 3, 2009

Meeting Description

NIEHS and NIOSH will host a pre-application technical assistance “virtual” meeting for RFA–ES-09-001.

The purpose of the informational meeting is to provide technical assistance on and answer questions related to the preparation of applications in response to RFA-ES-09-001. Potential applicants will be able to access the meeting by web and/or telephone. The meeting will begin with brief presentations from program, review and grants management staff, and then open into a question and answer session.

Participants should submit questions to PEPH at their earliest opportunity. All questions submitted by email must be received by 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on February 1. There will also be an opportunity for participants to submit questions that arise during the technical assistance meeting in real-time using the “Chat” function in Adobe Connect.

We have created a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document (227KB) document based on the questions received at the technical assistance (TA) meeting. In addition, an informational slide set compiled from NIH staff presentations given during the TA meeting is provided below along with several documents referenced in these slides. You can view the script for each slide by clicking on the orange text bubble in the upper, left corner of the slide.
