Close Biography

Dr. Rattan is a postdoctoral fellow at NIEHS. She has a B.S. degree in Animal Sciences and a Ph.D. in Comparative Biosciences, with a focus on reproductive toxicology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During her Ph.D. training, she investigated the role of an environmental toxicant on female reproduction across generations in mice. She currently serves as a researcher with Dr. Humphrey Yao and is studying the molecular pathways governing cell-determination within the developing gonads.
