Close Biography

Dr. Kristen Ryan is a scientist in the Toxicology Branch of the National Toxicology Program. She has a Ph.D. in Toxicology, with a focus in neuroscience, from the University of Colorado where she investigated the role of the environment on progressive neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease and Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. At the NTP, she serves as a study scientist for chemicals selected for toxicity and carcinogenicity evaluation by the NTP and her primary job function is to design and evaluate studies to help determine if chemicals are hazardous to the public.
