The post-doctoral fellow will primarily work with Dr. Peddada on microbiome and metabolomics in HIV/AIDS research. The post-doctoral fellow will have the opportunity to initiate and develop independent research projects of their interest. NIEHS is a highly collaborative and a data rich environment for a post-doctoral fellow to broaden their research interests and experiences.
A strong background in statistical theory for high dimensional data, computational skills (ability to develop user-friendly codes) and a keen interest in biomedical research are required. Experience in modern statistical methods in machine learning and related areas is highly desirable. Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
