Epigenomics Fact Sheet
This fact sheet from the National Human Genome Research Institute outlines what we currently know about the epigenome.

Online Data Portal of the International Human Epigenome Consortium (IHEC)
This online data portal provides a comprehensive set of reference epigenomes relevant to health and disease. You can view, search, and download the data already released by the different IHEC-associated projects via the IHEC data portal.

Your DNA, the Environment, and Epigenetics
This three-minute animated video offers an overview of epigenetics, including ways to reduce your exposure to environmental chemicals that may affect the way genes are expressed. The video was created by the University of Washington’s Center for Ecogenetics and Environmental Health and Center for Genomics and Healthcare Equality.

TaRGET (Toxicant Exposures and Responses by Genomic and Epigenomic Regulators of Transcription) II Consortium
This collaboration studies epigenetic changes caused by environmental exposures in a variety of tissues and cell types (e.g., brain, lung, liver, skin, blood) and investigates factors — such as sex and the timing of exposure — that influence whether those changes are conserved across tissues. The consortium will provide guidance on how to perform similar epigenomic analyses in human populations.
