Helena Kennedy is a program analyst in the Division of Extramural Research and Training (DERT) at NIEHS where she helps design and conduct analyses and evaluations of DERT-funded research. Her responsibilities include serving as IMPAC II coordinator for the Institute, preparing various reports and documents illustrating the importance of NIEHS-supported research, as well as providing technical support for several DERT-developed applications.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Le Moyne College. Prior to joining NIEHS in 2009, Helena worked at the Smithsonian Institution for six years in the Office of the Under Secretary for Science.
