Edward Pope has been working with the Superfund Research Program for just over one year. Edward is a management analyst for the Superfund Research Program at NIEHS. Edward manages, tracks, and forecasts Superfund’s administrative budgets. He also helps track and forecast Superfund’s grants budget as well. Edward’s main focus within the program is to assist the Superfund Research Program’s P42 center administrators with managing their grants and with help that they need.
Edward recently graduated in July from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina with a B.S. in Accounting. Edward also obtains an A.A. in General Studies from Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, North Carolina. Edward is working towards earning a certification as both a Certified Governmental Accountant (CGA), and also a Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA). Edward plans to attend graduate school in the future, and he plans to pursue an M.B.A.
