National Library of Medicine (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/) 

The National Library of Medicine is the world’s largest biomedical library. Use the NLM catalog LocatorPlus  to find materials in the more-than-6 million-item collection: books, journals, technical reports, manuscripts, microfilms, photographs and images. NLM is notable for publishing Index Medicus, currently available in the database Medline. NLM also manages TOXNET, GENBANK and numerous other biomedical literature and scientific databases.

The largest library in the world. Use the Online Catalog  to search more than 126 million items. The LoC Web site offers access to specialty collections in legislative information, US history and world culture.
