The Dartmouth Toxic Metals Superfund Research Program has compiled a primer on the nature of toxic metals and their impact on human health. Their primary focus is on arsenic and mercury, but they do have provide background, FAQ, and links for other metals. DNA Interactive   
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory has assembled five short tutorials (timeline, code, manipulation, genome, and applications) to assist students in understanding the discovery and usefulness of DNA. Educators may join the myDNAi community to access teacher guides with student activities and the new Lesson Builder tool.

HHMI's Biointeractive   
Howard Hughes Medical Institute has developed a comprehensive array of teaching tools on topics ranging from cancer and neuroscience to genetics and immunology. Tools include animated audiovisual lectures series, virtual lab classrooms, and "click and learn" tutorials.
