MYOVISION Patient Registry

The Myositis Association, through funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and with the assistance of Cincinnati Children's Hospital, has enrolled adults and juveniles diagnosed with myositis in the Myositis Patient Registry, MYOVISION.

Patient surveys have been completed online or through a paper copy submitted by postal mail. MYOVISION is designed to identify potential factors associated with the onset of myositis, characteristics of myositis patients, and the impact of the illness on their lives. Analysis of the information collected and use of registry data will advance research and provide a better understanding of myositis.   In the future, patients who consented to be re-contacted may be notified about their potential eligibility for participation in other research studies.

This study is currently closed to enrollment, but the registry is not yet available for researchers to utilize as a recruitment resource for future studies.
