Chemical Effects in Biological Systems (CEBS)

Many data sets in CEBS are published, and we ask that you acknowledge data sources and CEBS either by citation or in the acknowledgements section of publications you prepare using CEBS. Details are provided in the section on Citing CEBS.  Please alert us through email to any publication that uses CEBS so that we can highlight it on our site.

Data sets not yet used in full publications are not available for downloading by other groups without prior written agreement of those who generated the data. It is often possible to obtain access to entire unpublished data sets or large subsets of data on a collaborative basis. Please contact the Principal Investigator listed with the Study.

The providers of CEBS data MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS AND EXTENDS NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THERE ARE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES AS TO THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE DATA OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR THAT THE USE OF THE DATA WILL NOT INFRINGE ANY PATENT, COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARK, OR OTHER PROPRIETARY RIGHTS. Unless prohibited by law, USER assumes all liability for claims for damages against it by third parties which may arise from the use or storage of the DATA. In addition, NIEHS does not warrant that CEBS will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, or error-free.

CEBS data sets will NOT be used for treating or diagnosing human subjects.

USER agrees not to claim, infer, or imply endorsement by the US Government, NIH or NIEHS of the User's Institution or research results obtained from the use of the CEBS DATA, or any resulting publications or product(s).

Use of CEBS constitutes agreement with these terms.
