Fibroid Growth Study (FGS)The FGS Study Participation page contains answers to specific questions about the study. What is the purpose of this study?The purpose of this study is to learn more about why some fibroids grow to become problems for women while other fibroids do not. Who can participate in this study?Researchers are no longer enrolling new participants in the study. What is asked of participants?Make one to fourvisits over a one-year period to a clinic at UNC Medical Center. Each of these visits would take at least half a day. These visits would include:

Payment ScheduleA $100 check will be mailed to participants about two to three weeks after each MRI visit, up to four visits. Payments will range between $100 and $400 depending on the number of visits.
