The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) is inviting new applications for cooperative agreements through its Worker Education and Training Program (WETP) for a five year competitive segment (2010-2015). NIEHS is proposing applications to support the development of model programs for the training and education of workers engaged in activities related to hazardous materials and waste generation, removal, containment, transportation and emergency response.
The Hazmat Training at DOE Nuclear Weapons Complex Requests for Application (RFA) have grown out of NIEHS interagency partnership with Department of Energy's (DOE) Environmental Management Program for the cleanup of the nuclear weapons complex.
