Cathy L. Jamison, M.S.

Ms. Jamison works for the Office of Science Education and Diversity, serving as the Program Coordinator for the NIEHS Scholars Connect Program. Ms. Jamison connects undergraduate juniors and seniors, who are preparing for a career in one of the STEM disciplines, with NIEHS Principal Investigators who are conducting cutting edge research. She also makes connections with local campuses by attending a variety of career fairs, speaking to students, career advisors, and professors about the yearlong NIEHS Scholars Connect Program. Passionate about STEM education, she enjoys engaging students in their own learning, and guiding students towards making connections between science and everyday life.
Jamison, a native of Washington State, earned a B.A. in Education from Heritage University, and M.S. in Science Education from Montana State University. Her work was focused on environmental science issues, health, and earth science.
