Jerry Heindel, Ph.D.

Audience: K-12, undergraduates, graduate students, and community organizations

Dr. Heindel is a scientific program Director in the Extramural Division of NIEHS. He has a PhD in Biochemistry and before coming to NIEHS he was an active researcher at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and University of Mississippi. Over the last 10 years he has given over 60 invited presentations around the world on the role of environmental chemicals in diseases with a focus on the developmental origins of disease including obesity and diabetes.
